Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic, Grade 2, Further Education College, in Merseyside, delivering 300 courses to more than 5000 students from entry level to full degrees. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MIS/funding manager to join our team and contribute to the delivery of an outstanding experience for every student.
You will manage the key departments of Exams, MIS and Timetabling, and be responsible for the College’s external data reporting ensuring compliance with funding body regulations and maximising revenue from external funding bodies. You will ensure the College operates efficient and effective processes for the administration of student data and handling of examinations supporting the delivery of the curriculum through business planning and ongoing activities.
Qualified to Level 4 in an IT related subject or with substantial professional experience and training in MIS and Funding, you will have a detailed knowledge of the ILR and the processes used to make the return combined with a thorough knowledge of external funding body rules and regulations relating to Further Education. You will also be able to demonstrate a successful track record in MIS work and have experience of leading and managing a team to deliver an outstanding service.
