UCL is seeking to appoint a high-calibre individual to work as a senior analyst and application developer in our identity applications team. You will help us deliver our vision for a streamlined identity and access management service within UCL by providing support and continuous improvement to the service. With expertise in the software development lifecycle, application development and service management, you will be able to deliver an outstanding service.
As part of a larger applications group supporting a range of services there are opportunities to work on varied applications and technologies. Training is available to enable the right candidate to deliver in this exciting role.
You will be a strong communicator and relationship builder, able to establish high levels of credibility in the organisation and specifically in the service teams that you will work with.
You will have experience of a range of software development languages and be able to support our suite of applications which currently use Java and Java Spring, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle PL/SQL, Perl and PHP.
You will ideally have experience of a range of current best-practice tools and techniques for solution support and delivery such as deployment and test automation, DevOps, Kanban, service resilience, information security and service transition.
You will have a strong customer focus and service management understanding.
Any exposure to working with identity and access management solutions will be an advantage. This includes Microsoft Identity Management, Active Directory and OpenLDAP.
