Reporting to the Director of Liverpool Cancer Inequalities Research Network (LCIRN), the Director of the NWCRC@UoL and the Executive team, you will coordinate the implementation of the LCIRN Research Strategy, further develop and manage the network, as well as identify and support projects that can be undertaken in the short-, medium- and long term. You will draw on expertise from clinical, public health and social science researchers, front-line service providers, cancer patients and members of the public, and proactively seek research partners / members of the network.
You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience), relevant experience in Public Health research, and experience of leading projects with multiple partners. Additional experience of developing engagement projects with individuals and groups from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures would be desirable. You should be dependable, reliable, well-motivated and self-organised with the proven ability to work accurately under pressure. The hours of work are 21 hours per week, and you will be expected to demonstrate some flexibility with working hours as required.
