An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project specific Research Assistant based in the School of Health Sciences, University of Manchester. Funded by the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit, the study will assess the effectiveness of a self-management intervention for symptoms (breathlessness, cough and fatigue) in patients with lung cancer.
The work will include coordinating the day-to-day activities of this multi-site trial including training and oversight of staff across trial sites, participant recruitment, data collection, report writing and adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational and communication skills; who can work well both in a team and using their own initiative.
