The University of London Worldwide is seeking an experienced qualified Accountant to be responsible for the financial management of key investment projects, including programme and infrastructure development, as part of our ongoing growth and development strategy. This is a permanent role in a fast-moving area of financial management and development in global higher education.

Investing in projects is a key part of our ongoing academic and development strategy, working with our Member Institutions. The Project Accountant is responsible for leading the financial management of these projects, programmes and other co-ordinated business activities with defined aims. This includes carrying out complex investment appraisal, defining capital and revenue, expenditure, resources and other quantifiable objectives for projects.
The Project Accountant will work with project directors, programme directors budget holders, management and staff throughout the University and with Member Institutions, vendors and partners to lead the financial management of major projects during the initiation, development, implementation and live phases.
The role requires highly developed technical accounting, business and commercial skills, strong attention to detail and clear and insightful communications to a wide range of stakeholders.
The role reports to the Director of Finance and Business Planning and works closely with the Cost and Revenue Accountant who has responsibility for financial reporting, management accounting and budgeting, and with the UOL Finance department.
