The Department of Mathematics, which is the largest and strongest Mathematics Department in New Zealand, offers a full range of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applications are invited for two full-time permanent Professional Teaching Fellows in Mathematics.

The positions are intended for candidates with a PhD in Mathematics, or a closely related discipline, who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in the teaching of undergraduate level Mathematics. Professional Teaching Fellow positions are not intended for those interested in pursuing a research career.

Evidence of a commitment to high quality teaching and learning of undergraduate Mathematics is necessary. Experience with large class teaching, course coordination and assessment design is highly desirable.
