Marketing, Communications and Development is an award-winning team, providing expertise in marketing and communications across Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as managing the University’s profile and presence externally. Our remit encompasses Press and Public Relations, Web and New Media, Corporate and Faculty Marketing, Events, Public Engagement, Alumni and Development, and Design and Photography. We play a crucial role in ensuring communication materials and activities are fully integrated to maximum effect, reinforcing internally and externally the University’s brand, reputation and strengths.
The Brand Marketing Manager is one of the senior managers within the Brand and Campaigns Team, acting as a deputy to the Head of Brand and Campaigns and responsible for a small team of Marketing Officers.
Principle accountabilities include:
- Plan, manage and lead on the development and management of the University brand, working closely with the Head of Brand and Campaigns and senior stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and support for brand marketing planning and processes.
- Take responsibility as the strategic marketing lead for a wide range of strategic projects across the University.
- Line management of the Marketing and Projects Officer and Marketing Officer.
This is a maternity cover, we expect the fixed term contract to be 13 Months but this can change depending on circumstances.
