An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of open access services for UEL’s research community. You will be responsible for adding research outputs to UEL’s institutional repository, ensuring compliance with deadlines and with copyright and publisher requirements. You will play a key role in the preparation for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF) and will support compliance with UEL’s open access policy and external policies.
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, the successful candidate will have experience of working in an academic library or scholarly publishing environment, possess a good understanding of research publications and open access. Experience of working with information systems in libraries or higher education is also essential.
A successful external candidate for this position would be employed by UEL Professional Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UEL.
