Apprenticeship Compliance and Contracts Manager

We currently have the following vacancy within our Registry Team.

We are looking for a pro-active individual to manage the University’s apprenticeship contractual relationships with apprentices and firms. 

The role holder will be responsible for defining and managing the University’s processes in delivering apprenticeship and Level 3 provision to students, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements; including all relevant policy, systems and processes are in place, are tested and can be evidenced.

You will be expected to ensure that all the necessary policies are in place to enable the University to meet its regulatory requirements. This will require an up-to-date knowledge of:

  • EFSA funding rules and the ability to implement the required evidence standards;
  • Ofsted regulatory and inspection framework;
  • OfS, DfE, QAA

In addition you will be expected to keep abreast of practical and theoretical developments in the sector and update policy, material and assurance practice accordingly. Moreover, to manage the audit processes and liaison with EFSA relationship manager and other regulators as appropriate.

You will also be responsible for the training and development of staff to meet standards required by funding, awarding bodies, regulators and external partners, as well as across the organisation in relation to apprenticeship and other Level 3 provision. 

The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to advise and support students and staff across the University. You must also be capable of working on your own initiative as well as part of the wider team. Strong IT skills particularly in all key Microsoft Office applications and experience of using student databases are essential.
